When you’re in isolation for days there’s not much more you can do than think, when the painkillers were working, that is.
I thought about my family, my friends, my fiancee and our two young daughters and what they all mean to me, the pressure to provide for my young family, the work ethic I was brought up with, the things I’m the most passionate about in life. So it came to me, what better reason to launch the fashion brand I’d always dreamt about. What better time to start than now! Everyone who knows me, knows how passionate I am about fashion. I enjoy it. I like to have fun and be creative with it. I like how it makes you feel.
Events like this make you see everything differently and I knew this was one of those moments where you have to take the risk and just go for it.
Playing around with potential clothing brand names one name stood out to me. ‘LA FAMIGLIA’

It felt right. Translated it means ‘The Family’ And those days away from everyone I love made me understand more than ever, family is the most important thing in the world to us. To me, family isn’t just the people you’re related to, it’s the best friends I’ve had since my school days, my band mates I tour the world with, people I’ve met on this journey called life and those who’ve helped shape the man I am today.
I want people who wear La Famiglia to feel part of a community. Part of ‘The Family’. We’re not gonna try and be an Exclusive brand, we want to be Inclusive. Parents and children, brothers, sisters, friends and individuals – You are all welcome.
